a vintage John Jay College pull-over 
pen poised between molars 
naked pages beg to be dressed 
rows of bound experiences and lifetimes 
encompass filled tables and chairs 
chocolate chip cookie breezes sweep 
over nostrils.

Michael Jackson wants to know 
who's lovin you? 

The answer is simple: 
yourself.

This is definitely a "happy place" poem, a little feel-good vignette. I would say expand it, a little more, to make me buy into this image of innocently hedonistic, introverted self-care.
