How to Repeat Ancient History
Trojan is an interesting name for a condom. 82% effectiveness rate in preventing pregnancy. Unknown effectiveness rate against STIs. The Trojans were tricked into a false sense of security by Odysseus' wooden horse. The Greeks needed the Trojans to feel safe and comfortable. Safe and Comfortable only live a a block away from Vulnerability. They are first cousins. Just ask the guy with the vodka cran. He knows what is tangled between the anticipated molecules of this cocktail. He knows what he wants tonight. He is safe. He came with a condom and inspired plans. This city he plans to take only brought walls.

I see where you are going here with the Trojan analogy and the way it plays on several notes at once, but I feel like you can expand, give more detail and use spacing between the lines to visually let the poem breathe. It’s a little ice cube right now, visually.

I like how you transformed a "how to" into something that isn't listy or too direct. I appreciate how that tactic is working in this poem, but I do agree with Kate. It could use more breath.

I also want to know what is meant by "He knows what is tangled between the anticipated molecules of this cocktail."
